Our Conversation with Artist: Daniel Barber

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to revisit one of our favourite past projects in Fitzrovia. It’s always a thrill to return to a space we’ve designed and see how it has matured and adapted over time. After a few years, we were eager to reconnect with our client, Daniel Barber, and witness how he has made the house his own.

As we arrived, the warmth of the home enveloped us, a testament to Daniel’s personal touch and the design elements we had collaborated on. Shooting some reels allowed us to capture the essence of the space in its current form, showcasing how our original vision has flourished with the addition of Daniel’s personality and style.

One of the standout features of the home is Daniel’s impressive collection of mood-enhancing art pieces. We had the pleasure of discussing these works with the artist, diving into the inspiration behind each piece. The vibrancy of the colours and the precision of the evocative shapes add a captivating energy to the rooms. It’s fascinating to see how these artworks can transform a space, creating an atmosphere that feels both dynamic and welcoming.

During our visit, we also asked Daniel about his impressions of working with BR-ID. His insights were heartfelt and reflective, highlighting the collaborative spirit we strive for in our projects. It’s always rewarding to hear how our partnership has contributed to his experience in the home. To listen to Daniel, share his journey and thoughts, please follow the link to the full conversation.

Returning to Fitzrovia reminded us of the beauty of design and art as they intertwine, creating spaces that not only serve a function but also inspire and uplift. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented individuals and look forward to many more projects that celebrate creativity and personal expression.
