The refurbishment of this five bedroom house was largely carried out whilst the client was on holiday. Following design consultations BR-ID organised the decorations throughout and the installation of various joinery items to update the house.
Existing twentieth century antiques are enhanced with a Porta Romana mirror and pendant fitting.
The existing basement kitchen/living area was updated with new worktops, joinery and lighting. A light palette of colours was chosen to improve the light values.
A window seat was designed with upholstery to complement the original Victorian shuttered window. Use of modern furniture, tap and Rothschild & Bickers lighting update the kitchen.
New bespoke joinery gives beautiful but functional storage to a chimney breast wall creating a great back drop to the dining area.
The teenage son’s bedroom was decorated with his choice of wall mural creating impact and personalising his space.
